ELINOR DONAHUE – 83 YEARS OLD

Elinor Donahue made her way to international stardom when she played the role of Betty Anderson, Jim and Magaret Anderson’s eldest child, in the hit ’50s sitcom Father Knows Best. From here, she started to be part of different TV shows, like Dennis the Menace, The Brothers Brannagan, and The Odd Couple, among others. Of course, she also had several movie credits, and the last one was in the 2004 movie The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement as Lady Palimore.

Although we rarely see her either on the big or small screen, Elinor is yet to announce her retirement yet formally. Her last appearance was in the long-running TV series The Young and the Restless as Judge Marie Anderson in 2011. Even though she’s greatly missed, at Elinor’s age of 83, she may be having the best time of her life, yielding the fruit of her hard work when she was young.
