Julian Lennon

As the son of the famous Beatles co-founder and member John Lennon, Julian Lennon had trails of his father left on him and become a successful musician himself. Being surrounded by his dad and his dad’s friends, he was the subject of a few songs of the Beatles such as the Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, Hey Jude, and was even mentioned in the famous John Lennon song, Mother. His first gig as a musician happened when he was still an 11-year-old boy and was asked to play an impromptu version of the song Ya Ya with this father.

His success as a professional artist did not happen overnight, as he never had his father’s electricity in convincing record labels to believe in his talent. After a number of unsuccessful attempts and doing small appearances, he eventually got to sign himself in with several music labels like Virgin, Atlantic, Charisma and Music From Another Room.
