Jamie Redford
Jamie Redford is an acclaimed director, producer, screenwriter, and storyteller which he, perhaps, took inspiration from his father Robert Redford, who is also a famous director and producer himself. In one of his interviews, he said that coming from a family of storytellers, he felt the need to create an avenue for his views and opinions of the world, and this resolve is what inspires him in his duty as the co-founder and Chairman of The Redford Center, whose main mission is to use stories of individuals from all walks of life to bring about positive change and inspire different audiences.
Despite having a serious medical condition and undergoing two liver transplants, James still has some gas in his tank and didn’t pursue his passion for making documentaries and award-winning films. His works include the documentaries Watershed, Toxic Hot Seat, and Mann v. Ford. He also wrote and directed films dozens of films throughout his career which includes the short comedy film Quality Time, Cowboy Up, and the PBS Mystery movie Skinwalkers.
