Born on June 20, 1949, in Tuskegee, Alabama, Lionel Brockman Richie Jr. is an American singer-songwriter, music festival and record producer, and actor. Since 1968, he has been a member of the Commodores, signed to Motown. Lionel Richie is one of the music industry’s top-notch talents and probably one of the most successful individuals in the field. He made a living as a singer and songwriter and he also showed tremendous upside when it comes to real estate investments.

That kept us thinking that he should probably venture into that department as well. Speaking of which, his massive 17,000 square foot mansion in Beverly Hills was proof of his greatness in handling finances.
