Pele – $2.85 Million, Hamptons

Famed Brazilian soccer Pele, also known as one of the greatest players of all time, has successfully sold his Hamptons mansion for a whopping $2.85 million. It’s an excellent investment return for the sports icon after buying this property for just $156,000 back in 1979. It might have taken him four decades before he earned something from it, but, at least, it’s a significant amount.

Anyhow, he had spent a lot to make it as huge as it is now. He had the house renovated and turned it into a two-story mansion with 3,400 square feet of living space, sprawling on about one acre landscaped. Some of its features are a stunning swimming pool, an outdoor shower, and access to the beach. Did we say it’s on Clearwater Beach and its marina? It also brags a double-height living room, a massive kitchen, and a huge deck where the new owners can entertain their guests. Indeed, it’s a good buy for its new inhibitors.
